Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains the technologies used by adwokatchudzinski.pl, Google Analytics and controls for optional external content. Version dated 29 September 2026.
1. Cookie Policy: who operates the website?
Tomasz Piotr Chudzinski operates the website under the registered Polish business name Kancelaria Adwokacka Adw. Tomasz Piotr Chudzinski i Wspólnicy, Tax Identification Number (NIP) 9532553483, Aleje Jerozolimskie 100, 10th floor, 00-807 Warsaw, Poland. The English marketing name is Tomasz Piotr Chudzinski & Partners Law Firm. Our Privacy Policy provides contact details and explains your personal data rights.
2. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small piece of information that a website stores on or reads from a device. For example, a website may use it to remember your selected language or maintain a secure session. Browser storage and other identifiers may perform similar functions. A request for a resource from an external server also discloses technical data to that server even if the provider does not place a cookie on the device.
3. Technologies needed for the website to operate
WordPress and Wordfence security mechanisms support sessions used by people who log in to the editorial area. The website also uses LiteSpeed Cache to deliver pages more efficiently and Contact Form 7 to send enquiries. This does not mean that each of these tools places a separate cookie on every visitor’s device.
Polylang manages the language versions and may remember the chosen language in a cookie called pll_language. It contains a language code, not a description of a legal matter or information entered in a form. Its standard lifetime may be up to one year. You can delete it at any time in the browser settings and select a language again from the website menu. Automatic redirection based on the browser language is disabled. You can choose a language from the menu; each language version has its own address.
The website stores your analytics and extended Google preferences in the first-party ach_consent_v1 record for up to 180 days. It contains the mechanism version, selected categories and time of the decision. It does not contain a user identifier, contact details or a description of a legal matter. This record remembers your choice between page views and allows you to change it later.
Technologies strictly necessary for transmission or for providing a service expressly requested by a user may operate without separate consent within the limits of Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law. By contrast, the website should only activate other technologies that require consent after you give that consent.
4. Optional Google Maps
Where a page offers an embedded Google map, it should not load automatically. The page first displays information about the provider and a button requesting consent to display the map. Some language versions instead provide only external links to Google Maps. Selecting the button initiates a connection with Google. The provider then receives technical information, including the IP address and browser data, and may use its own cookies. The precise scope may also depend on the visitor’s Google account and browser settings.
Using the map is optional. Without activating it, you can still read the Law Firm’s addresses, use the website and submit the contact form. A standard link for directions leads to a separate Google service and activates that service only after you select the link.
On pages with an embedded map, a control lets you close it and withdraw this choice after activation. Selecting it removes the map from the current page. We do not store a permanent choice that would automatically load the map on later visits. The visitor must make the choice again after reopening the page. This control does not affect a separate Google tab opened through an external link.
Closing the map does not delete cookies that Google previously placed or reverse data transfers that have already taken place. However, you can remove those cookies in the browser settings. Further details about purposes and retention periods are available in Google’s information about cookies and the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Advanced Consent Mode
Measurement and consent
Google Tag Manager centrally manages tags, while Google Analytics 4 measures use of the website. Before you make a choice, the website sets analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization to denied. Google Tag Manager may load, but it does not create analytics cookies at that stage. Advanced Consent Mode v2 allows limited signals without cookies to reach Google. These include consent status and technical data specified by the platform for modelling aggregated results.
After analytics consent, GA4 may store cookies such as _ga and _ga_<identifier>. They distinguish browsers and sessions within the consent settings. Their standard maximum lifetime may be up to two years. The GA4 settings specify 14 months for event and user data retention. This setting affects explorations and funnel reports, not standard aggregated reports. Cookies such as _gid or _gat may appear depending on the Google function or delivery method and have shorter lifetimes.
What measurement includes
Analytics covers page views, sources and campaigns, approximate location, language, device, operating system and browser. It also covers scrolling, active time, article reading, navigation, calls to action, public downloads and supported video. The system also measures anonymous form stages and successful contact without sending the content of the enquiry.
We do not send form-field values, email addresses, telephone numbers, names, messages, documents, medical data or raw search phrases to GA4. The system redacts URL parameters that could contain personal data. However, it retains safe campaign parameters, including UTM parameters and standard campaign identifiers.
Separate consent for extended Google features
A separate choice for personalisation and extended Google features allows the website to set ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization to granted. It also enables Google Signals. Google may then provide aggregated demographic and interest data. Availability depends on Google account sign-in, relevant account settings and sufficient data held by the platform. This does not launch advertising or remarketing campaigns. We do not create our own browser fingerprints.
Providers and other tools
The providers are Google Ireland Limited and relevant Google group entities. Processing may involve transfers outside the European Economic Area under the mechanisms described in Google’s terms. These may include an applicable adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. See the Google Privacy Policy, Google’s cookie information and Google’s data processing terms.
Google Search Console measures visibility in search results without requiring a separate analytics cookie in the visitor’s browser. GA4 export to BigQuery is not currently active.
The Law Firm’s server delivers Open Sans and Roboto fonts. As a result, your browser does not need to download them from Google Fonts servers. Access to website content or the contact form is not conditional on consent to analytics or advertising.
6. How can you manage cookie settings?
The banner lets you accept all categories, reject optional categories or choose analytics and extended Google features separately. The cookie-settings control in the footer reopens the panel. The website sends your changes to Google immediately. After withdrawal of analytics consent, the website removes accessible GA cookies from the domain. This cannot reverse earlier lawful processing or remove data already aggregated by the provider.
You can delete cookies, restrict their storage and block third-party cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies, including those needed for a session or language choice, may limit some website functions. The main information about the Law Firm and the contact form remain available without consent to analytics or extended Google features, and without loading a map.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before withdrawal. For questions about privacy, use the contact form or write to the Law Firm’s correspondence address.
7. Updates to this Cookie Policy
We update this Cookie Policy when the technologies used on the website or the applicable law change. The current version is available at the same address. For further information about recipients of personal data and possible transfers outside the European Economic Area, read the Privacy Policy.
